Abstract: The orphic time is fed from a topos of passages and transitions. In Novalis, this time is associated to an interliminal dimension, to a rupture threshold in order to produce the intensely pathemised figure of a peerless “present”. The paperwork aims to point out some features of the Time-affect, mean to reveal in a subject “the striving towards infinite plenitude within the boundless unity” (Fr. Schlegel). In the end, our aim is to explore, from a semiotic point of view, the cultural creativity regarding temporal figures and regimes.
