Abstract:
In this article is argued the opportunity of reviewing the regulatory method of penal liability for domestic violence in the Republic of Moldova legislation. Considering the model of prevention and combat of domestic violence implemented in the present Romanian Penal Code, the Moldovan legislature is recommended to: 1) to exclude art.2011 "Domestic violence" from the Penal Code of the Republic of Moldova; 2) to complete art.145, 150, 151, 152 and 155 PC RM, as well as art.78 of the Contraventional Code, so that the liability to be aggravated if the offense is committed against a family member.
