Abstract:
Since ancient times, the need for religious freedom has been the expression of the human person's desire to manifest freely in the realm of faith. Over time, the fundamental elements of religious freedom have crystallized, which the states of the world protect at the constitutional and infraconstitutional levels, with the European Court of Human Rights being the driving force behind interpretations in this matter.
