Abstract: The topic of this book review is the University Course entitled "Criminal Procedure Law. General Part", authored by Lecturer PhD Denisa Barbu. The reviewed university course represents a real successful didactic work of the author and was published by Lumen Publishing House from Iași, in 2016. From the beginning of the review, it is worth noting that the analysis of the course shows an essential conclusion, namely that the paper is an indispensable tool for students / masters / doctoral students, but also for all categories of legal practitioners, offering the advantage of an absolutely necessary update of criminal law, by reference to the most recent legislation into force.
