Managing “Mega- Daguos” in the Global Society of XXIst Century

Abstract: The present paper starts from analyzing the conceptual roots of the “daguo” term, as it is used in the Chinese studies of international relations; we’ll introduce into discussion the new concept of “mega-daguo-s”, as referring to supra-entities (political or civilization), as a kind of new trans-state and super-state actors, one of them being of continental and trans-continental dimensions and we’ll try to define some of their features and importance for 21st global society. The third part of the paper will be focused on the concrete types of mega-daguo-s, that are in full process of re-composition and emergence, connecting this new reality to concepts as “global governance” or “harmonious governance”.
