Abstract: Ukrainian parties and politicians carry out advisory meetings with public activists and NGOs. During such interactions, politicians are informed about the aspirations and demands of the people, the strategic goals of societal development are defined, and political programs are elaborated. Cooperation with NGOs demonstrates that the state institutions are fully committed to implement the principle of civil society control over the power structures, which is one of the key goals in the democratic world. Strengthening the Ukrainian civil society guarantees the realization of rights and freedoms, as well as the participation of representatives of all nationalities and ethnic minorities living in Ukraine in the process of management and control over the activities of state structures.
