Abstract: Most of the works dedicated to this subject depicts education as a process of shaping and forming the enlightened, moral and great good man. This image is blunted because it overlooks the processes of education or „re-education” has taken throughout history by many totalitarian regimes, imperialist annexations or colonial domination, processes which involved deep injustice, suffering and injustice. Hence, for a more objective understanding of what educational action is, an axiological cleaning of positive ideology involved in its representation is absolutely necessary. It is also essential to change the starting point of analysis, which should not begin, as dedicated disciplines do, from a status quo, no matter how neutral it would be considered, but from a purified cognitive foundation, from a universal epistemic foundation, which only a critical positioning analysis of its possible existence can offer.
