Dimensions of Employability of Hungarian Language Graduates in the Field of Social Work in a Multicultural Society

Abstract: This study presents the situation of social work graduates who were trained in a minority language and work in multicultural environments. Professional integration and perceptions of the ability to use the knowledge acquired during university studies were investigated by administering a questionnaire to 111 graduates trained in the North- West region of Romania. The results show that graduates' motivation plays an important role in their professional activity. Although most of them can use their mother tongue at work, language competence is important, but not the most important factor in professional integration.
