Abstract: This paper aims to investigate the phenomenon of migration of the physicians from the perspective of the medical specialist, with the adaptation of the instruments characteristic for sociology. Through this endeavor we try to identify the magnitude of the phenomenon, the pattern of migration for the Romanian physicians, the opinions of the decision factors and the conceptual model of the migrating physician.
