ICT and its impact on organizational learning (English version)

Abstract: This article presents the impact of the Information and Communications Technology – ICT at organizational learning through a review of the state of the art in this field. First, it addresses the basic concepts of knowledge society, the process of change due to a postmodern era and its implications for organizational learning. Additionally, it addresses the concept of ICT, its development, components and a relevant discussion concerning the difference among data, information and knowledge that are necessary for the accuracy of organizational learning. Finally, it presents the definition of organizational learning observed from the organization itself and describes a series of studies of the impact of ICTs on organizational learning and through this into the increasing productivity and innovation.
