Abstract: European Consumer Protection has to be seen beyond the theory; aspects from practice are very interesting. Thus, it is very important for the consumers to be very well informed about the products they buy; they have the right to give back the inadequate product or to receive compensations for it. Abusive clauses are forbidden in contracts, when parties are European citizens. Deceitful advertising is also forbidden. European consumer is well protected by the law even when he is in his vacation.
