Abstract:
Both in Romania and in Moldova the behavior control of juvenile convicts with conditional suspension of the sentence is carried out by specialized services in the special legal rules. This activity made by such specialized services is generally called “probation”. The word “probation” is a term used internationally, beyond differences of language or legal system and is one of the first intermediate community sanctions as a regulated alternative to imprisonment.
