Abstract: The volume „Filosofia socială construcŃionistă. DirecŃii epistemice, etice si pragmatice” (Social Constructionist Philosophy. Epistemic, Ethic and Pragmatic Directions) brings to the attention of the reader the most significant news in research conducted in transmodern paradigm. The volume focuses on the relationship between communication and semiotics, transmodernity as a social and cultural paradigm, constructionist epistemology, appreciative ethics and appreciative inquiry. The volume aims to identify the cultural models and cognitive patterns that lead to rethinking the epistemological, ethical and pragmatic specific to transmodern paradigm. I consider the volume up-to-date, significant and as reference for experienced researchers as well as for doctoral students, both in humanities and social field, and it can be regarded as reference for philosophical approach of theories of social constructionism.
