Lecture 7: Transport Planning

Kuo Tzu-ch'eng

Chinese Economy, 1977, vol. 10, issue 3, 41-52

Abstract: The transport industry is a special material production branch. Transport is a direct continuation of the production process in the circulation process. The transport industry is different from other material production branches. Its special characteristic is that on the one hand it reflects the production process while on the other hand it belongs to the realm of circulation. Consequently, transport planning reflects not only the production process but also the circulation process.
