Abstract: Wuming is situated in the southern section of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is an advanced >u>xian>/u> in the movement to learn from Dazhai in agriculture. In 1976 it had a population of nearly 500,000, out of which 460,000 were peasants, and a cultivated area of approximately 850,000 >u>mou.>/u>
