Chinese Economy, 1979, vol. 13, issue 1, 74-85
Abstract:
"Increasing production and income" is a major economic issue in the rural people's communes. It involves how the people's communes can provide the state with increasingly more abundant agricultural and sideline products and also how the people's communes can achieve sustained expanded output in order gradually to improve the living standards of the commune members. This article is intended to arouse more discussion through a preliminary exploration of certain problems involved.
