Abstract:
The focal point of recent debates on economic structural reform has been whether or not to have mandatory planning and whether or not it can be abolished in a socialist planned economy. This question involves the understanding of the basic economic system of socialism and its characteristics (>i>tezheng>/i>) and is related to the orientation to be followed in Chinese economic structural reform. A clear answer can only be obtained when we explore it by integrating theory with practice.
