Chinese Economy, 2017, vol. 50, issue 4, 274-282

Abstract: Arbitration, with its perceived benefits of economy in time and expenses, confidentiality, enforceability, neutrality, and liberty from national laws’ restraints, is the preferred choice for dispute within the SPFTZ. The establishment of the SPFTZ Arbitration Court and the promulgation of SPFTZ Arbitration Rules and the Opinions provide strong support of dispute settlement in the SPFTZ, and understanding the innovations and features of those rules will definitely help businessmen choose a better method to resolve the disputes and to the maximum extent to protect their property and rights.
