Comments on Dr. Mühlpfort’s Determination of the Production Prices and the Uniform Rate of Profit for a Given Uniform Real Wage Rate

Abstract: In this article, we present the correct formulation of the transformation problem given by Mülhlpfort in a modern mathematical way in his doctoral dissertation (1893) and in an article by him (1895). The formulation of the problem takes the form of a homogeneous system of n equations with n + 1 unknowns. We present, comment, and solve the system.
