When and Why Does Public Debt Become a Problem?

Abstract:
In this brief article we argue that questions regarding the sustainability of debt, in particular public debt, have been incorrectly debated in terms of economic production, whereas a more fertile ground for analyzing such questions is that of social ontologies.
