Secular Stagnation as a Result of Economic Maturity or Deepening Underdevelopment?

Abstract: In this article, we critique the secular stagnation hypothesis and offer an alternative theoretical framework capable of more fully explaining the current economic trajectory of developing countries: falling interest rates, asset price deflation, and falling investment.
