The Japanese Economy and the Labor Market
Yoshio Kurosaka
Japanese Economy, 1989, vol. 17, issue 4, 3-40
Abstract:
"… Time travels in divers paces with divers persons. I'll tell you who Time ambles withal, who Time trots withal, who Time gallops withal, and who he stands still withal" (Shakespeare, 1623). As the tempo of time differs among persons, the tempo of a nation's economic development varies among nations.
