Public Financing and Financial Regulations

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to discuss the relationship between public financing and financial regulations in Japan. The article starts with a simple outline of the characteristics of public financing. Next is a discussion of the relationship between government regulations and public financing. Third is an analysis of the roles and limitations of postal savings, postal insurance, and the social security fund. The last part examines the significance of public financing in the present climate of financial liberalization.
