Türk Sinemasında Düzensiz Göç: Tarihsellik Bağlamında bir Değerlendirme

Abstract: İkinci Dünya Savaşı sonrası Avrupa’nın yeniden inşası için Marshall Planı yürürlüğe konmuş ve gelişmeye başlayan Avrupa ülkeleri, ihtiyaç duydukları iş gücünü göçmenler ile karşılamışlardır. Ancak 1973 Petrol Krizi sonrasında göçmen alımını durdurmuşlar ve “kapalı kapı” politikası izlemeye başlamışlardır. Soğuk Savaş sonrası yaşanan siyasi çalkantılar ve küreselleşme süreci, uluslararası göç hareketlerini de küresel boyuta taşımış ve Avrupa Kalesi daha da güçlendirilmiştir. Arap Baharı ve Suriye iç savaşı yeni bir göç krizi yaratırken göçe karşı alınan önlemler daha da sıkılaştırılmıştır. Bu nedenle göçmenler, daha tehlikeli rotalar izlemek zorunda kalmış ve göç güzergâhları boyunca ölüm ve kayıplar dünya genelinde artmıştır. Bu trajedi, doğal olarak sinemacıların da dikkatini çekmiştir. Dünya sinemasıyla eş zamanlı olarak Türk sinemasında da düzensiz göç temalı filmlerin sayısında artış kaydedilmiştir. Çalışmada; bu filmlerin oluşturduğu araştırma evreni içerisinden Türkiye’nin kaynak, transit ve hedef ülke olarak konumlandığı 1990 yılı sonrası filmler dikkate alınarak bir örneklem seçilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, söz konusu filmlerin Türkiye’nin göç hareketleri bağlamındaki konumunu ne derece yansıttıkları ve bir tarihsellik izleği oluşturup oluşturmadıklarını belirlemektir. Bu kapsamda filmlerdeki göçmen yaşamların betimsel anlatısı yapılarak, yakın dönemde uluslararası göçte yaşanan dönüşüm tarihsel ve sosyolojik açıdan analiz edilmiştir. Sonuçta, uluslararası göç hareketlerinin dönüşümü kapsamında her zaman merkezî bir konumda yer alan Türkiye’nin durumunun, genel anlamda, dönemsel gelişmelerle eş zamanlı olarak ortaya konduğu tespit edilmiştir. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Irregular Migration in Turkish Cinema: An Evaluation in the Context of Historicity The Marshall Plan was put into effect to reconstruct Europe after WW2. Redeveloping European countries, met their labour needs with the migrants. However, after the 1973 Oil Crisis, they stopped the recruitment of migrants and started to closed-door policy. Furthermore, at the end of the Cold War, the political upheavals and the globalization brought international migration to a global dimension and Fortress Europe is fortified. The Arab Spring and the Syrian Civil War led to another refugee crisis and further tightening of the measures. Consequently, migrants started to follow more dangerous routes. Deaths and disappearances increased worldwide. Predictably, this tragedy has attracted the attention of filmmakers. Simultaneously with the world cinema, the number of irregular migration themed films in Turkish cinema increased. In the study; a sample was selected from the research universe formed by these films, taking into account the films after 1990, in which Turkey was positioned as a source, transit and destination country. The aim of the study is to determine to what extent these films reflect the position of Turkey in the context of migration movements and whether they form a historical trajectory. In this context, the descriptive narrative of the immigrant lives in the films has been made and the recent transformation in international migration has been analyzed from a historical and sociological perspective. As a result, it has been determined that the situation of Turkey, which has always been in a central position within the scope of the transformation of international migration movements, in general, was revealed simultaneously with the developments of the period.
