Abstract: The main idea of the article is to study the problem of regional development in the conditions of limited water resources. The subject of the study is theoretical and methodological provisions and applied practical recommendations for the regulation of regional development in the conditions of limited water resources. The purpose of the article is to determine the connection between water supply (water potential) of Ukrainian regions and their specialization in production and trade in the conditions of water resource constraints and determine the further prospects for regional development.
