Abstract: This paper deals with question of corporate governance, which is of crucial economic, political, and social importance for countries in transition. Explained are principles, models, and regulations of corporate governance. Author proposes establishment of Forum for Corporate Governance that would, by developing dialog betwen private and public sector, contribute to efficiency of business environment and to increase of SCG competitiveness at national and international level.
