Abstract:
Logistics as a relatively new science with its methodology of optimization and organization of rational movement of tangible (cargo) and accompanying flows, such as informational, financial and service, enables the increase in efficiency of these flows, decrease of expenses, greater number of satisfied clients and creation of added value as the basis of competitive advantage. Due to the mentioned characteristics, the integrated marketing logistics has great possibilities of being applied in realization of harbour-transport services. The use of integrated marketing logistics as a complex system of planning, organization and control of cargo related flows in harbour transport, implies the use of contemporary electronic, communication, transport and information technologies.
