Milan Vukcevic and Slavisa Zogovic

Montenegrin Journal of Economics, 2007, vol. 3, issue 6, 171-182

Abstract: Realization of the engineering project, except technical correctness, is based on economic justification. Engineering economy is occupied with this problem through systematic analysis of interest and timemoney relation. The difference between projects requires different analyses of capital and money investments; therefore there isn't unique method for evaluating economic justification of project solution. Decision about economic justification of project solution is brought on the basis of analyses of methods for evaluating economic profitability of suggested project solution. On the other hand, it is pointed on project liquidity by the payback period method.
