Abstract:
The paper discusses the influence of economic tendencies on the development of sea ports, the effects of the containerization development on the evolution of integrated marketing logistics strategy. It also deals with the enhanced concentration of the port transport and logistics operators and the development of port logistics efficiency. In addition to this, we also provide the comparative analysis of the development of Adriatic and Mediterranean sea ports and financial analysis of selected development trends in sea ports marketing logistics. We start with the hypothesis that the flow of goods and logistics, as well as the integration of functional logistics in sea ports, dominantly determine the development of global markets.
