Abstract: Balanced Scorecard (BSC concept), as one of the most important management concepts, in addition to financial indicators uses learning and growth of human, informational and organizational capital, improvement of internal processes and increasing of customer satisfaction for business improvement in the companies. The idea of this work is to determine and display the application of the BSC concept in the automotive industry as a leader of innovation and technological development. Research conducted in the global environment shows how much Balanced Scorecard is used in the process of defining and implementing strategies in the automotive companies as well as practical experience of the managers on the impact of Balanced Scorecard to improve business results.
