Abstract: The past period has highlighted that the more efficient use of renewable energy sources is crucial in terms of sustainability, environmental protection, energy supply security and the national economy. It is essential that efficient financing structures, attracting the full spectrum of financial and capital market resources, are put in place to finance new investments. This article explores the question of what new investments and financial market and capital market funds are needed to support the growth of renewable energy, and discusses new financing structures that support the growth of renewable energy investments.
