Abstract: World production of lighting fixtures (top 60 countries) is worth about US$ 64.4 billion (Euro 43.7 billion) for the year 2008, with a 8.9% increase in comparison with the previous year (1.4% in Euro). This estimate is based on CSIL processing of data from official sources as far as trade is concerned, and CSIL estimates for production and consumption. Including other countries, the grand total could reach US$ 68-70 billion.
