Abstract: There are significant perspectives for future growth of the contract market in Europe. In the world of furniture, contract is a transversal business involving all types of products, from upholstered furniture to bedrooms, from seatings to lamps, from office to bathroom, kitchen and outdoor furniture. The market for contract furniture and furnishings in 2010 was estimated to be worth around Eur 8 billion for the EU-15 countries.
