Abstract: The study analyzes the effects of social capital on community-based tourism development in Binh Dinh province. A survey of 302 locals living in community tourism destinations was conducted. The study used exploratory factor analysis and multivariate regression model. The results show that four variables, including trust, reciprocity, norms, and cooperation, have a positive effect on community-based tourism development. Networking negatively affects community-based tourism development in Binh Dinh province. Additionally, trust is the factor that has the greatest impact on the growth of community-based tourism.
