Methods and goals of infrastructural choices
Cesare Pozzi
L'industria, 2008, issue 1, 299-314
Abstract:
This paper aims to define an analytical framework to investigate the relationships between infrastructures, firms and land use and their synergic contribution to the development of the economic system. The infrastructural choices need to be analysed accordingly with their ability to generate high value added services, taking into consideration the substitutable and complementary relations among different infrastructures in an "artificial system" such as the economic one. The paper highlights the systemic impact of infrastructural policies on productive and settled systems.
