The Economic Crisis and the Duties of Industrial Economists

Abstract:
The paper describes the economic scenario after the financial crisis focusing on Italian manufacturing sector. In particular, it shows the good results reached by this sector in the last two months in terms of occupation and sales and it provides some predictions for the next future. Then it presents some consideration on the role industrial economists are having in promoting new proposals to overcome the crisis.
