Regulatory Choices for a New Economic Development

Abstract:
This paper aims to give some remarks about the regulatory choices in Italy on the main network industries, former public monopolies (telecommunications, transport, water, energy). In particular, it focuses on the main legislative actions taken by the current Italian Government and provides some brief comments with particular attention to the transport sector and to the new competencies given to the National Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas about water sector.
