Economia dei Networks. WWW ed Internet: uno sguardo nella "black box"
Augusto Schianchi
L'industria, 2003, issue 2, 281-300
Abstract:
In this paper, after summarizing the most interesting results for Internet Economics, a more analytic introduction to the web and Internet structures is presented. A sort of "a look inside the black box". Following the contributions by Bollobas, Barabàsi, Watts, Strogatz (among others), the ideas of random graphs, small worlds and scale free models are introduced. All concepts widely utilized in scientific research and mostly important in web and Internet applications. This exploration is quite introductory; its goal is to think for their application in order to search for the economic efficiency of networks.
