The vitality of small and medium-sized centers in promoting cultural events

Abstract: Festivals and cultural events represent a growing reality in Italy. Even small towns have developed a great capacity to promote these initiatives. With a specific survey, more than sixty have been selected. Those that have been realized for more time are the music festivals that have been added, in recent decades, festivals of literature and on issues at the border between culture and society
