Vincenza Ferrara
Economia della Cultura, 2023, issue Speciale, 235-240
Abstract:
Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) is a pedagogical method that uses art as a learning tool. For the process that it activates in the participants it also becomes a useful tool for well-being, health promotion, social inclusion and cognitive rehabilitation. The VTS method was introduced in Italy in 2014 and the trials and impact assessments are presented here in various sectors such as school, university and continuing education, sectors of social hardship, the health sector and for the training of professionals of care both for patients and for the construction of communities in experiences of urban regeneration. Once the results have been considered, the activation of advanced training courses is reflected in order to involve the operators of the various sectors in its application.
