Culture at the crossroad between sustainability and technology

Abstract:
The Conference first panel "Culture, technology and business" is focused on the indicators that link the role of culture to the framework of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an empirical research based on standard information contained in the existing reservoir of data (open data warehouse of EUROSTAT), the double stream of research that the impact of AI needs - on value chains and on artistic and cultural employment - and a general review of the relations between cultural productions and the digital economy, stemming from industrial developments in last twenty years. Finally is recalled the progress towards a better recognition of the role of culture in the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (2030 Agenda) and in global Climate policy (COP - UNFCCC).
