Education and culture: an uneasy relation

Abstract:
The paper is focused on the mismatch between education in cultural and heritage management and the constraints of the cultural institutions representing a barrier for recruitment of new necessary skills. Moreover, frictions and difficulties between School and Cultural sector spread also in the primary and secondary levels of school, as far as participation of cultural offer is concerned. To overcome the obstacles there is the need of effective policies at least at urban level, improving innovative tools to facilitate the very important relation between Culture and Education, starting from the first years of school.
