Abstract:
The European Cohesion Fund 2021-2027 underscores the integration of culture and education as drivers of local development and societal growth. Regional initiatives, such as Lazio's creative hubs and cultural education projects, illustrate effective models for fostering collaboration, innovation, and civic engagement. Despite challenges in coordinating ESF+ and ERDF resources, Italy's efforts, including the "National Programme Culture", highlight the potential of culture to enhance heritage preservation and community inclusion. A strategic, holistic approach is essential to maximize the synergy between culture and education, ensuring their combined impact on fostering resilient, inclusive societies.
