Le risorse dell'industria cinematografica in Italia

Fania Petrocchi

Economia della Cultura, 2001, issue 1, 37-44

Abstract: This article presents the most recent figures on Italian film industry revenues generated at the box office and through home video, DVD, and television rights, with a focus on the problems faced by the researcher in obtaining precise information in this area. The productive role of Rai and Mediaset and the role of public financing are analysed together with estimates of the investments dedicated to film production between 1996 and 1999.
