Le culture nell'età post-coloniale
Khaled Fouad Allam
Economia della Cultura, 2005, issue 1, 43-46
Abstract:
Our era is characterized by the beginning of the post-colonial period. This implies two relevant consequences: on the one hand the end of the distinction between central and peripherical areas due to globalization, on the other hand the development of new symbolic frontiers in which culture represents no longer a territorial boundary, but rather a symbolic one. A new political approach and a new cultural diplomacy, which are almost completely absent nowadays, are therefore urgently needed.
