Abstract:
The Italian film industry and the local banks are progressively shortening the distance between them. The traditional financing options available to producers, presales and coproductions, are now partnering with more sophisticated tools, which have already proven their efficacy in other markets. A new impulse towards these new tools is given by the newly introduced tax incentives, although the local industry still has to grow both in terms of dimension of players and diversified product.
