A migrant creativity: young artists in the international contest
Luigi Ratclif
Economia della Cultura, 2014, issue 1, 119-124
Abstract:
Is the mobility in the creative field always a value which contributes to the professional career of artists? Where is the boundary beyond which the mobility becomes forced and ends to be a free choice to become a necessity for survival? What is the value of the incoming mobility for a community? This article suggests reflections and ideas for new models of artistic migration and identify some macro objectives of the current policies and, mainly, some actions that look to the future for a possible broadening of horizons.
