La gestione dei contenuti editoriali.Il Corporate Content Management System
Alberto Cantoni
Economia della Cultura, 2002, issue 3, 343-350
Abstract:
Digital technologies reshape the value chain of publishing enterprises by suggesting new content management solutions. The «Publishing Archives», that is the traditional content management model based on a static idea of publishing property, is discussed by advanced digital systems, which allow outputting the same content (be it text, sound or image) to a variety of formats. Therefore, in the author's opinion, moving from a static model to a dynamic system based on an integrated architecture and intended to manage the Global Contents (Corporate Content Management System) is a critical factor for the corporate success. The meaning and the basic elements of the CCMI represent the object of this article.
