Pietro Antonio Valentino
Economia della Cultura, 2017, issue 3, 423-436
Abstract:
The article deals with the theories and techniques used in the economic evaluation of public interventions, both in general and with specific reference to the cultural and environmental field. The author explains the theoretical and applicative limits of Cost-Benefit Analysis and refers to other methods that, by assuming different concepts of individual rationality, can help the collective decision-maker without having to resort to restrictive axioms of behaviors such as those included in the ACB approach.
