Le biblioteche istituzionali fra isolamento e nuove opportunità
Fernando Venturini
Economia della Cultura, 2003, issue 3, 329-334
Abstract:
This article proposes an outline of the essential characteristics and prospects of the libraries belonging to Italian principal political and administrative institutions. Created to serve the needs of the institutions, in certain cases these libraries treasure major historical heritage and have service capacity that remains largely unexploited, even by specialists. The development of network services at Italian public institutions is also opening up new horizons for institutional libraries and their staff librarians.
